The flowers were in the way but you can see that our "house" was full on Sunday!! MUMC's 175th celebration was a huge success. We had a full day of fellowship, wonderful testimonies and sermons--with a little food thrown in for good measure.
Doc and a former pastor, Johnny Crosby, who is now our District Superintendent-in deep discussion.
The best part of Brother Johnny is Sarah and Ms Connie (and he knows it!!)
Proud to have Brother Jennings Poole with us. He enjoyed the day.
I was glad that part of my bunch showed up. They enjoyed visiting with everyone they hadn't seen in a while.
There was tons of food and places for everyone to sit. The children all ate downstairs with their own special menu! How cool was that!!
Robert Carmona came and was there for both services. He spoke at the morning service. He will always be special to MUMC and us to him. Our "Katrina refugees"--Buddy and Joyce came too. They come two or three times a year and we're always glad to see them. Ed and Betty were visiting with Buddy (Joyce was AWOL at the moment).
After the service Sunday night Ed and I had the priviledge of feeding our ministers for the last 20 years!! We're sorry that Dale and Debra didn't get to be there but Ms Connie came and we enjoyed ourselves until 11:00 PM! We were all shocked when we looked at the clock. l to r: David Cox, Mike Childs, and Johnny Crosby
Our Revival is going on for three more nights-Monday through Wednesday at 7:00 PM. Come on over and hear some good preaching and music. Meadville UMC welcomes everyone.
