While the girls were at the beach Ed and the guys went to Montana to fly fish. From the telephone conversations every night, it sounded like they were having a great time. They were floating down the big rivers spotting bald eagles [with nests and eaglets], young elk, and mule deer--not to mention catching just about every species of trout available. I can imagine the conversations that went on each day. This was a varied group of men and I'm sure they held nothing back. That can be exciting!!
The scenery was beautiful. This was the "Big Hole River". Ed said you could float down the river and see snow on the mountains. I know he loved that.
This is one of John's pictures made at the Madison River. You can see the snow on the mountains. Ed said the morning they left it was 37 degrees! What more could a gas man want! He came home all relaxed, rested (?) and ready to go back.
He spent the first night in Houston with his cousin Vin. This could be a post in itself but I just had to get it in because I am on a campaign.
I WANT THAT COW!!!
