Thanks to so many of you who have been emailing about me not blogging for a while. It seems that it has only been "all about me" and the dogs and to me that wasn't the most interesting subject around here.
I should have known something was up when Ed made "arrangements" with me to go to Walmart several days in advance for "dog supplies" on Saturday. He even gave me specific times so he could get back to watch the basketball game. [Well, we did watch the tornado hit the Georgia dome, so what did I know!] When we drove up to the drive way, this is what we saw! Needless to say, I was speechless!
And of course there were a few tears too. They all came out to meet me and give me hugs and a pink balloon--they had attached a prayer to each balloon. They gathered around me and I let the balloons go.
We watched our prayers reach to the heavens and we know that God will answer them.
What happens next is amazing! But--you'll just have to check back later. How's that for a teaser!!
UPDATE: I've had a really good week. We've been trying to find a solution for the nausea. On Monday at 6:30 AM I'll have my port inserted and on Thursday I'll have my second treatment. Ed has been my rock and my friends have surrounded me.
I will not die but live, and will proclaim what the Lord has done. The Lord has chastened me severely, but he has not given me over to death. Psalm 118:17-18
