Every one of my friends knows I'm a "low pain tolerance" kind of girl. I tear up at the sign of a needle and "throwing up" isn't in my vocabulary! I survived the needle part on Thursday, did fine on Friday, but Saturday I had my butt kicked! I spent the day on the bed being fed nausea meds by Ed and Jennifer. I don't remember ever feeling like that 12 years ago. I told Ed I must have been dumb or younger [or maybe both!]. Today has been much better; we made it to church and Jennifer brought us lunch. I managed to eat some of it and it was delicious. Thank you sweet Jennifer, you learned it on your own. Life is a roller coaster around here. Emotions are running full speed but our faith is strong and we have friends constantly checking in. Our sweet "vet" even brought me a rose bush and flower seeds! That's encouragement and love in a bundle!
We're waiting on Lou {my mare} to have her baby and a couple of other mares are due shortly. I can't wait to see the new babies. Shelly put them all in the pasture behind the house today so I can watch them run and play. He also put Esay in with them--you know what that means--more babies next year. Never ending fun on Cotton Branch!
