Being a "Nana" has its perks and I got one on Friday. Jennifer had to work and couldn't go with Sam on his field trip and I got to go. Sam's friend Will and his mother Leigh Ann rode with us. We stopped in Brookhaven to eat breakfast at Mickey D's where they ran into another friend. They were sweet boys and said their blessing and ate a good breakfast.
The drive to Jackson was a good one because the boys watched movies and the grownups got to talk. Thomas the Tank kept the boys entertained. You haven't lived until you sit in an auditorium with 500 four year olds! The puppet show was very good. Sam's favorite character was the wolf. I loved the snowmen that danced in the Nutcracker scene.
Ms Debbie took time to take a picture with Sam. Thank you, Ms Debbie, for giving us such a wonderful day.
Christmas through the eyes of a child-there's no better gift.
