This has to have been one of the best Thanksgivings ever. All of our family was here except three grandchildren. Cookie and Tommy and Becky and Barry were here along with Debra and Buddy. Josh had his two friends from England also. Tom and Shirlee came and Abby and one of her friends had been visiting for a couple of days. Our home was brimming with love and laughter and food and fellowship and most of all blessings. Josh took Shelby hunting and Sarah and Allie decided to go too. Josh wondered what he had gotten himself into! :)
Barry, Hillary and Becky enjoyed the day. Hillary loves to come to the farm. She loves her Uncle Ed. And...Becky brings awesome ambrosia!
Shirlee wanted Tom and me to make a picture together. I'm glad we did. I thought this one was pretty good. As you can see Abby and Melanie put our Christmas tree up early. I am thankful for that.
Debra and Buddy came and stayed for the day. I'm sure they probably thought we lived in a zoo--loud and noisy with animals running through the place--literally!
Not everyone has a deer coming in for dinner!
Ben was the only hunter that scored. Buddy saw horns but didn't get a shot. We ended the day with leftovers and have good memories of a blessed day.
I'm watching the weather report right this minute and they are predicting cold and rain--what could be better? Low temps will get those gas trucks rolling. What a blessing!
