I heard the weather person say we were due to have bad weather. All of a sudden I thought about the beautiful flowers in the yard and although we need the rain, I didn't want them to get beaten down by the heavy rains and hail that were supposedly coming. I grabbed the camera and went outside. The pink roses in the front have never been so lovely. They are blooming all over. Ed even commented how beautiful they were.
The snaps in the back by the pool are gorgeous and the "Knock Out" roses are packed full of blooms. The smell of the bay magnolia is heavenly. With the wind blowing like it was yesterday the scent was all over the back. On the way back inside I walked under the pergola. I always do that since it's my favorite place.
A clematis that I planted a couple of years ago has actually grown and bloomed. It has never bloomed before. What a beautiful gift from God. It is tucked up under the evergreen wisteria just blooming its little heart out.
Thank you Lord for your neverending surprises and wonderful rain.
