After Tom got out of the hospital on Thursday, Shirlee brought him here to Meadville because she had to go to Baton Rouge to take her sister for a stress test. (It seems that we're all falling apart!) We fed him a good Cotton Branch steak that night and on Friday he and I spent some quality time in town at Mom's house going through some pictures. We really enjoyed the time together--we laughed and remembered lots of stories from our younger days. That was probably good for both of us. Seeing all the pictures was soooo much fun. You may know that the "Southward Cousins" have always been a close bunch but have gotten a lot closer in the last few years. A lot of you know them from the reunions that we have here at CB and from them attending church that reunion weekend. Well, see if you know these girls?!!! And one boy!! Don't you just love it! These are some of my precious Southward cousins and
Tom. I don't know how old they were in these pictures, but I do know that they are the most precious things in the world. With the glasses on the left is Leigh (a college professor), Tom, Lisa, (a SAHM to 3 beautiful children) and Donette (who raises horses and helps her husband with horse and cattle sales). The three beauties on the right are top, Carolyn, (Bell South employee-retired and grandmother), Shara,l-(Moore Wallace and mother of two beautiful girls), and Nancy, r-(First Tennessee Bank). We also found some incriminating evidence to be used at a later date of Hal, Jr. and Clifford Fleming.
I think I'll play this game later and NOT identify the pictures. We'll see who reads my blog in the family!
