Finally we made it to a rodeo. What a Saturday it was! loved it.
Seeing Graham, Ben and Sam in the opening parade was terrific. Sam was first up in the "sheep riding". He took a nose dive and came up crying but that didn't last long. He stayed on 1.3 seconds and that's not bad for a three year old. Shelly let me go into the arena to take a picture for the "goat tail pulling". I found out that was a "no no" because I didn't have on a button up shirt. Ben did well on his new pony--Graham has Houdini since Gray died at the last rodeo. Buffy is a good little horse for Ben. That little horse flew from one end of the arena to the other. Graham was the only money winner this w
eekend. He won 1st in goat throwing and brought home cash--what his Mom let him keep. They have to pay their own entry fees which is only fair. Rodeoing with three can get expensive. Papa got there just in time to see Sam round the last barrel and head for the gate. He did poles so Papa could see and did it perfectly. With a little practice the big guys better watch out. What a great way to spend a Saturday morning. I didn't get a good picture of Ben on his horse, but he's always willing to stand by me and let me take his picture. At least Graham got to hold his money for a little while. I kept telling him to spread it out so I could see it. Finally he understood that I wanted to see ALL of it. He is so funny. Well, this post didn't turn out the way it should have but sometimes things just don't.
